Grace Anne Belangia is a HanaHaus Palo Alto regular. She is a national speaker, and a dynamic, driven and award-winning community development strategist and entrepreneur. She co-founded Make Startups where they accredit public and private sector organizations to ensure entrepreneur training standards and unlock funding to support their organizations and entrepreneurs.

Believe it or not, 2022 was the first year we celebrated HanaHaus Newport Beach’s birthday in-person. The past 2 birthdays were commemorated virtually with a limited possibility to form connections with our community. So this year was our chance to showcase our appreciation for our friends of HanaHaus that keep our workspace buzzing with lively energy.
Alan Hyppolite is one of our first timers at HanaHaus who fell in love with the coworking culture. He is digital creative currently working with 3:5 Creatives which is a creative agency and studio. He loves everything marketing, technology, innovation -- hacking his first computer at 11-years-old.

Marcos Mazariegos who is often mistaken as Drake or Bad Bunny, hails from the beautiful country of Guatemala. He is a frequent regular at Newport Beach. As a recent graduate from Chapman University, Marcos fell in love with the Orange County scene with its beachy views and laidback lifestyle. He has plans to visit Iran with his girlfriend later this year and is an overall warm and friendly person.

As we enter the year of 2021, we reflect on such a historical year for many families, communities, and businesses. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HanaHaus has remained close since March 21st, 2020, but these times adversely brought amazing opportunities for changes and innovation within our business. As the world around us adapted to the “new normal”, our team came together to make use of these times to expand our community beyond our space.

She thought that financial freedom meant “swiping the card!” So began her quest for a financial education.
Ankesh Kumar is a start-up entrepreneur. He has started numerous companies, two exits, one without raising money, the other raised $50m in venture funding, sold some patents/IP to Google. Currently working on two start-ups, Slide, an app for friends to plan social experiences and Sharetivity, to help salespeople create personalized messages when prospecting.
On Tuesday, May 19, HanaHaus hosted its second installment of the SAP Virtual Speaker Series featuring Co-Directors Humera Fasihuddin and Leticia Britos Cavagnaro of the University Innovation Fellows (UIF) Program at Stanford University’s d.school for an engaging panel discussion to share strategies that can help drive innovation across an organization.
Jenny Kim is a User Experience Designer based out of Irvine. She has been working from SAP since last year. She was been a regular at HanaHaus for a very long time. Today, she joins us to tell her experience with HanaHaus and her transition from working in an office to working at home.
Hans-Martin Will started his career at the SAP Innovation Center in Newport Beach a little over a year ago. In this time, he has taken on additional responsibilities and climbed the ranks to become the Global Head of the SAP Innovation Center Network, managing a variety of teams across the globe.
On April 14, the first-ever virtual SAP Speaker Series event hosted by HanaHaus welcomed Cheriana Griggs a Sr. UX Designer at Google, Kasia Kesicka, a design team leader at SAP, and Pamela Bailey, who leads design thinking and innovation at Facebook. These incredible women shared their unique experiences and discussed the future of the design industry while speaking openly about the challenges female leaders face today.
On February 19th, the SAP Speaker Series welcomed UC Berkeley Graduate Professor, David Patterson, to the stage at HanaHaus. Over 40 years ago, David helped pioneer the RISC processor design that is still used in 99% of all new computer chips today. He is also one of 70 people in the world to receive the Turing Award (also referred to as the "Nobel Peace Prize of Computing"), for his amazing accomplishments in the realm of technological innovation.
